Clark Davis
Managing Director - Business & Strategic Development
Clark Davis is our managing director - business & strategic development, responsible for generating acquisitions and development opportunities on behalf of TIER REIT. Mr. Davis joined the Company in 2016 following a wealth of experience in real estate management and business development. He most recently served as the Executive Vice President for VanTrust Real Estate LLC, where he oversaw real estate activities for the Southwest U.S. Prior to that, Mr. Davis spent 16 years with Hines, most recently holding the position of Senior Managing Director responsible for marketing, leasing, asset management and business development in the Southwest U.S. Mr. Davis’s extensive background also includes positions with Pepsico/YUM Brands and the Trammell Crow Company. He received his bachelor of business administration from Baylor University and his master of business administration from Vanderbilt University.
Dean R. Hook
Senior Vice President - Information Technology & Property Management
Dean R. Hook is our senior vice president - information technology & property management, with over 25 years connecting real estate business operations and technology. Mr. Hook joined TIER REIT in March 2015 after serving Brixmor Property Group’s, a publicity traded REIT, as senior vice president and chief information officer from February 2012 to February 2015. He has spent his entire career either working internally or consulting with all real estate companies focusing on integrating business process and technology. Over his career, Mr. Hook has worked for equity firms such as American Real Estate Group, Brazos Funds (now Lone Star Funds), real estate operators Paragon Group, Terrabrook and Ginn Companies. He also served as a Managing Director for RealFoundations and worked with various REIT’s and real estate operators including; DDR, Equity One, Forest City Enterprises, Brixmor Property Group, Kimco Reality, Westfield, Cadillac Fairview and Equity Office. Mr. Hook received a bachelor of business administration in finance from California State University at Fullerton.
Greg Brooke, CCIM
Senior Vice President - Development
Greg Brooke is our senior vice president - development for our properties located in Austin and Dallas/Fort Worth. Mr. Brooke has more than 25 years of experience in asset management and office development. He led two of our recent developments in Houston, Texas - Three Eldridge Place and Two BriarLake Plaza. Mr. Brooke holds a bachelor of science in business from Abilene Christian University and is a licensed real estate broker in Texas. Prior to his current position, Mr. Brooke held a similar position with Granite Properties.
Hannah Q. Wrenn
Chief Accounting Officer
Hannah Q. Wrenn is our chief accounting officer. She joined TIER REIT in November 2015 after working at Ernst & Young LLP for nearly ten years in its assurance practice. During her career at Ernst & Young LLP, she served both public and privately held companies within the real estate industry, including REITs, homebuilders, and hospitality companies. Ms. Wrenn earned her bachelor of business administration and master of accounting degrees from Texas Christian University. She is a certified public accountant and member of NAREIT.
Murray Jardine
Senior Vice President - Acquisitions
Murray Jardine is our senior vice president - acquisitions and has over 20 years of experience working in commercial real estate. Prior to joining TIER REIT, Mr. Jardine worked at Sarofim Realty Advisors for ten years where he was responsible for office acquisitions and asset management in their Dallas office. During his tenure at Sarofim, he was involved in the acquisition, development, redevelopment, and disposition of numerous projects across the country. Prior to joining Sarofim, Mr. Jardine worked for Highgate Holdings and Archon Group in a variety of acquisition, asset management and portfolio management roles. He is an active member of NAIOP where he sits on the Office Acquisitions Forum. Additionally, he is a member of Urban Land Institute and holds a position on the North Texas ULI Industrial Office Product Council. Mr. Jardine received a bachelor of business administration with a concentration in finance from The University of Texas at Austin.
Scott A. McLaughlin
Senior Vice President - Investor Relations & Tax Strategy
Scott A. McLaughlin is our senior vice president - investor relations and tax strategy. Prior to joining TIER REIT in January 2015, Mr. McLaughlin spent nearly ten years in public accounting and business consulting, and was a vice president at an S&P500 REIT from 2006 to 2010. Mr. McLaughlin earned his master of business administration from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin, and a bachelor of science in business administration from the University of Richmond. He is a certified public accountant and an active member of NIRI and NAREIT.
